Overview

Casey (he/him) is a selective mute, 17 year old trans guy working on finding little ways to pursue a purpose and reason to live after dealing with loss, trust issues, and a broken family.Often seen as quiet, cold, and distant due to his muteness and his overall demeanor, Casey in truth is much more expressive and passionate than what others assume. Turning his pain and his emotional struggles into forms of art, Casey somehow manages to speak to and inspire the people who get a chance to see it.His birthday is on January 31st

Casey is a character that I have had for 4+ years that I hold very close to my heart, and is very special to me. He is an OC that I have shared with important people in my life, and still do.
I can say 69420 things about him and about his story that can't fit here but maybe one day I will find a way to put it all together in a bow <3

Notes

  • His muteness developed due to having trouble socializing in school after moving

  • His parents are divorced

  • Lashes out physically when pushed too far. This is due to his inability to express himself verbally

  • Is a dancer and a pianist. He mostly creates music electronically

  • Is a seasonal snowboarder

  • An essential member of his band. He plays keyboard and helps create the off-vocals

  • Sonic the Hedgehog made him trans i dont make the rules

  • Has a BF named "Snap" whom Casey loves more than anything. Their relationship although wholesome, lacks resolve

  • "prince" is a common flattering title given to him by Snap

  • Has so much to say, but encounters every difficulty in expressing it

  • Most of his feelings are expressed in his music and dance, but the communication is never direct

  • Attempted suicide survivor

  • Is often juggled between his two parents a couple times a year

  • Has kept Snap's snapback hat the entire time when they weren't friends anymore

  • Has more power over my emotions than I do :)
